B.C.'s Thompson River Canyon Down Under
Here's another great Canadian model railroad—in Australia!
The Thompson River Canyon is portable N scale layout created by Rod Warren and Vic Fitzpatrick. It is based on the CPR and CN lines through B.C.’s scenic Thompson River canyon.
The layout, which has received several awards, is featured in the latest issue of Canadian Railway Modeller. (If you like Canadian railways, you need to subscribe.)

That's an excellent layout, enjoyed the video too. Very impressive for 'N'
ReplyDeleteJust received my most welcome CRM in the mail yesterday. Indeed an awesome "downundah" layout. I had to look twice to verify the gauge. Also a nice surprise to see Morgan included a couple of photos from my Winnipeg layout, showing reefers at Crescent Fruit Co. You can never have enough produce reefers, as evidenced by the 40- and 50-footers I keep buying (and weathering)
ReplyDeleteNice post John,
Eric
That looks like a nice layout. But they need to dump those stand in Dash-9s for some real power! Or some different Dash-9s with better cabs.
